Sigma Gamma Rho has welcomed more than 100,000 collegiate and professional women. The Ladies of Lambda Delta are involved in numerous of the Sorority’s national projects. The Lambda Delta Chapter was chartered on Novemon the campus of the University of Georgia by fourteen women known as the “Fourteen Ladies of Controversy. Through active participation in programs and networking with other organizations such as the NAACP, the National Urban League, and the National Council of Negro Women, Sigma’s legacy of service to improve the quality of life for all mankind continues.
